Derek Nelson

Derek Nelson began their career in 2011 as an Account Manager at TEKsystems. In 2015, they moved to Alert Logic as an Account Executive. In 2018, they joined Rapid7 as a Named Account Executive and then in 2019, they became a Sales Director at Graylog, Inc. Most recently, they were appointed as the VP of Sales at SecurityGate.io in 2022.

Derek Nelson attended Texas State University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelors in Business and Administration with a focus in Finance. Prior to that, they attended Angleton High School.
