Braden Hutchinson has a diverse range of work experience. Braden started their career at Cardon Outreach in 2014 as a Patient Advocate, where they worked until 2015. In 2015, they joined JET IP Translations as a Patent Translator, and remained there until 2017. Following this, Braden joined Brigham Young University in 2016, where they served as the Office of Digital Humanities' Web Application Administrator/Developer. In this role, they worked on full-stack development for multiple websites, focusing on security and user experience. Braden also collaborated with students and teachers to enhance usability and design. In 2018, Braden worked as a Software Quality Assurance Intern at SecurityMetrics. Braden then returned to SecurityMetrics in 2019 as a DevOps Engineer. Currently, Braden is employed at SecurityMetrics.
Braden Hutchinson graduated from Brigham Young University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Braden pursued a double major in Cyber Security and Japanese during their time at the university. Prior to attending Brigham Young University, they attended Utah State University from 2011 to 2012 where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Music Performance with a focus on Guitar.
In addition to their academic degrees, Braden Hutchinson has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they successfully completed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT N1) from The Japan Foundation. Braden also received a Superior Rating in the ACTFL Writing Proficiency Test - Japanese in December 2019. Furthermore, they hold a CompTIA Network+ certification which they obtained in January 2018. Lastly, Braden achieved a Superior Rating in the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview - Japanese in November 2018.
