Kelley Yates has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Student Co-op and Interior Designer at Stantec. In this role, they gained valuable experience in interior design. In 2010, they joined Stantec again as an Application Technician and CADD Lead, where they worked on various design projects and managed the daily operations of the Railway Signal CAD team. Since 2013, Kelley has been working at Sedgwick Business Interiors, where they have held different positions including Designer, Design Manager, Director of Design, and their current role as Director of Workplace Strategy and Design. In their current role, Kelley is responsible for programming, space planning, code verification, sustainability efforts, and other design-related tasks. Kelley also has extensive knowledge of Herman Miller products and the Living Office method. Kelley's work experience showcases their expertise in design and their ability to take on leadership roles.
Kelley Yates has a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Georgia Southern University, which was obtained between 2005 and 2009. Additionally, they hold a WELL AP certification from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), which was acquired in May 2022. In October 2017, they obtained the NCIDQ Certification from the Council for Interior Design Qualification - CIDQ.
