Mike Brendel

Mike Brendel has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Mike started their career in 1991 at Robert Plan as a PD & BI specialist. In 1998, they joined Sedgwick as an Assistant Vice President-Specialty Claims, where they had overall operations management responsibilities for two Sedgwick Professional Liability offices. Mike was also responsible for budget preparation, profit and loss management, and ensuring consistent delivery of quality services. In July 2022, they were promoted to the role of VP Specialty Claims at Sedgwick, leading their Healthcare Professional Liability initiatives and overseeing multiple offices and programs.

Mike Brendel attended the State University of New York at Old Westbury from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Management.
