Lindsey Kernodle

Lindsey Kernodle is a professional graphic artist currently working at Sedgwick County Zoo since May 2017, where responsibilities include designing and fabricating graphic elements related to the zoo's animal and plant collections. In addition to this role, Lindsey operates as a freelance science illustrator, creating original artwork for various institutions, including National Geographic. Previous experience includes an internship at Golden Gate Audubon Society, producing interpretive panels, and serving as a co-teacher and tutor at local art camps and The Learning Lab, fostering a creative environment for children while also providing academic support. Lindsey holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis and furthered education at California State University, Monterey Bay.
