Nic Burkinshaw

Nic Burkinshaw has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Nic is currently working as a Technical pre-sales engineer AI & IoT at SeeChange Technologies since 2020. Prior to this, Nic served as a Director & co-founder at Thinnovation Ltd, a consultancy focused on developing IoT solutions, from 2015.

Before their role at Thinnovation Ltd, Nic worked at Symantec from 2008 to 2015, holding various positions such as EMEA Regional Principal Product Manager for Mobility Solutions, EMEA Regional Principal Product Manager for Endpoint Virtualization, and Principal Systems Engineer. At Symantec, they were responsible for product development, sales support, and training.

Nic has also worked at AppStream as an EMEA Technical Manager from 2006 to 2011, where they developed and supported channel partners for the AppStream software product and engaged with multinational clients. Nic had a brief self-employment period from 2005 to 2006, working as an IT Consultant and providing technical support and project management services.

Earlier in their career, Nic worked at Wyse Technology as a Software Consultant and European Business Development Manager from 2001 to 2005, supporting software and hardware products in the UK and Europe. Nic started their career at Netier Technologies Inc as the European Technical Manager from 2000 to 2001, where they provided product support, training, and won an Award of Excellence for outstanding sales support.

Overall, Nic Burkinshaw has extensive experience in technical pre-sales, product management, and consultancy roles in the fields of AI, IoT, software, and hardware solutions.

Nic Burkinshaw completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Derby from 1975 to 1978.
