Dr. Shiri Guy Alfandary, PharmD.

Dr. Shiri Guy Alfandary, PharmD has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Shiri served as the Clinical Pharmacist for Hashfela and Jerusalem District at Maccabi Healthcare Services from 2002 to 2017. During this time, they worked on laying the foundation for building a model for the role of the clinical pharmacist and initiated, built, and managed the first clinical pharmacist's research for Maccabi. Dr. Shiri also established the first drug information center at Maccabi and served as a consulting model for the entire healthcare organization. From 2017 to 2022, Dr. Alfandary served as the Chief Clinical Pharmacist at Maccabi Healthcare Services, where they provided leadership and acted as the manager of the clinical pharmacy at the HMO headquarters. Dr. Shiri also worked with Maccabi's pharmacological consultants to formulate a drug treatment policy. In March 2022, Dr. Alfandary joined Seegnal as the Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, where they currently work. Dr. Shiri is also set to join The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in October 2022 as a lecturer.

Dr. Shiri Guy Alfandary, PharmD received their Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1999. Dr. Shiri then obtained their Master of Science degree in Clinical Pharmacy from the same university from 2000 to 2002. In 2010 to 2011, they obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy - PharmD degree in Clinical Pharmacy from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Dr. Shiri has also received various certifications such as a License to practice pharmacy and a Personal permission for a clinical pharmacist to prescribe, both obtained in 2000 and 2018 respectively. Furthermore, they have obtained additional certifications such as Risk Management and safety care in health Systems, Negotiation management skills, Opioids management course, and License to issue medical cannabis from different institutions dated from 2015 to 2022.
