Bruce Thompson

Bruce Thompson is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Director of Hardware Engineering at Seegrid since February 2017, Thompson previously held a role as a consultant, where freelance consulting and community engagement were key focuses. Thompson has a rich history in engineering leadership roles, including positions as Director of Engineering at both Seegrid Corporation and McKesson Provider Technologies. Notable earlier roles span from Chief Technology Officer to Vice President of Engineering at RedZone Robotics, as well as managerial positions at HyperActive Technologies and Otis Elevator Company. Thompson holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Robotics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, also in Robotics, from Carnegie Mellon University.
