Chand Priyankara

Chand Priyankara began their work experience in 2008 as a Trainee Software Engineer at Web Application Developments, where they worked on a Fleet Management System for the Ceylon Electricity Board. They then interned as a Trainer at the Sri Lanka Air Force in 2009. From 2009 to 2010, Priyankara was a student at the Faculty of Engineering - University of Ruhuna, where they completed various engineering projects including a Wireless Sign Language Interpreter. In 2011, they worked as a CTI Application Architect at Simsyn Pvt Ltd, focusing on computer telephony integration. From 2013 to 2019, Priyankara worked at Atrenta and Synopsys Inc, taking on roles as a Senior Software Design Engineer and later as a Software Engineering Manager. Currently, since 2021, they are working as an Embedded Software Lead at Seeing Machines.

Chand Priyankara earned a BSc (Engineering) 2nd Class Honor in Electrical and Information Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna - Sri Lanka, from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, from 2008 to 2010, Chand obtained certifications in CCNA and CCNP-SW specializing in Computer Networking from Border Gateway-Kirulapana.
