Lauren Allain

Lauren Allain has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Lauren began their career in 2009 as an English Language Instructor at Shane English School Shanghai. Lauren later worked as a Business English Instructor at World Vision in 2010. In 2012, they transitioned to the hospitality industry and worked as a Server, Bartender, and Manager at Chanterelle until 2018. From there, they became a Web Content Writer at Seeker in 2018 and a Content Writer and Manager at Awaken Travels in 2019. In 2020, they worked as a Content and Copywriter at Gnarly Nutrition. Most recently, they have been a Contributing Writer at Seattle Refined and U.S. News & World Report since 2021.

Lauren Allain earned their Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Western Washington University between the years 2003 and 2007. Lauren went on to pursue higher education and completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in International Business at Webster University Leiden between 2012 and 2013.
