Rebecca Rutherford

Rebecca Rutherford has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Rebecca started their career at C1 Consulting as a Senior Consultant/Consultant from February 2012 to April 2015. Rebecca then joined Xcell Biosciences, where they initially served as the Director of Product Development and Support from April 2015 to June 2017. Rebecca was subsequently promoted to Director of Operations and played a crucial role in the company's growth, overseeing hardware and consumables development, raising over $12 million in funding, and building a team of 20 employees. In 2018, Rebecca joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as the Associate Director of Product Management, responsible for managing the NGS consumables portfolio for inherited disease. Rebecca Rutherford obtained their Bachelors of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, which they attended from 2001 to 2005.
