Mira Barshai

Mira Barshai is an experienced Data Scientist specializing in computer vision at SeeTree since December 2021, focusing on the research and implementation of algorithms for forestry analysis using image and LiDAR data. Prior to this role, Mira served as a Tutor at Tel Aviv University's Unit for Science Oriented Youth from October 2019 to September 2021, where an AI introductory course was developed and taught for gifted students. Additionally, Mira worked as a Science Instructor at Carasso Science Park from May 2015 to September 2019, offering guided tours in various scientific fields, and as a Tutor at Beit Yatziv teaching math and robotics to elementary school students between December 2017 and June 2018. Mira's career began in January 2013 as a Machine Operator at Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. regarding educational background, Mira holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and an Engineer’s Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the same institution.
