Stephan Wartmann

Stephan Wartmann is an experienced executive currently serving as the CEO of BRUGG Group AG since January 2014, leading a company with approximately 2200 employees and 712 million Euros in sales as of 2023. In addition to this role, Wartmann is a member of the Board of Directors for Sefar Group and several other companies including Pestalozzi AG and Wälli AG Ingenieure. Wartmann previously held the position of CEO at Geobrugg Group from 1999 to 2013 and has extensive experience in engineering, having earned a Doctorate in Civil Engineering and an Executive MBA. Stephan's educational background includes degrees from ETH Zurich and the University of St. Gallen, alongside completion of an advanced management program at Santa Clara University.
