Annie Lumerman

Annie Lumerman serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Sefaria since January 2014, leveraging extensive experience in nonprofit management. Prior to this role, Annie founded Generate Change, a consulting firm dedicated to strategic planning, fundraising, and communications for nonprofits. Annie also held leadership positions as Director of Jewish Programming at Sixth & I, where programming innovation contributed to national recognition by Newsweek, and as Development Manager, initiating comprehensive fundraising campaigns. Additional experience includes consulting with Smarter Good, Inc., development roles at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and research at the Corporate Executive Board. Annie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Anthropology and a minor in Women and Gender Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
