Rogério Oliveira

Rogério Oliveira has extensive work experience in the field of software development and architecture. Rogério currently works as a Senior Solutions Engineer at Seidor USA, where they are responsible for migrating a monolith application to an event-driven microservices architecture solution. Rogério utilizes technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, and works in a Rancher/AWS cloud environment.

Prior to their current role, Rogério worked at GFT Group as a Tech Lead and Java Architect, where they were involved in migrating legacy systems and building new ones using Java, Spring Boot, and AngularJS. Rogério also served as the interface between the development team in Brazil and the client in the US.

Rogério also has experience as a Java Architect and Spring Boot Specialist at Startup Cloud Town AI, where they worked on a project focused on cloud optimization using AI and machine learning technologies.

In addition, Rogério held the position of Dev Manager and Java Architect at HSBC Software Development Brazil, leading the back-end development team in a global Java/Oracle/SOAP project. Rogério was responsible for code reviews, implementing best coding practices, and improving build strategy performance.

Earlier in their career, Rogério worked as a Java Architect at Softplan Planejamento de Sistemas LTDA, where they were responsible for integrating the company's software with Oracle's Project Costing Solution using Java EE and AngularJS.

Rogério also worked as a Java EE Specialist at PD Case and DBA, where they developed and maintained systems for the Federal Government, and at MSA Infor as a Java EE Developer.

Rogério began their career as a Web Developer Trainee at CEMIG. Throughout their career, they have consistently demonstrated expertise in Java development and architecture, utilizing various frameworks and technologies.

Rogério Oliveira completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from PUC Minas, from the year 2003 to 2008. In the year 2014 to 2015, they pursued a degree in Software Engineering Projects, specifically in Computer Software Engineering, from the Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina. Prior to that, from the year 2000 to 2002, they studied Computer Science as their second degree at COTEMIG. In April 2015, they obtained the Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer certification from Oracle.
