Shawn Uematsu

Shawn Uematsu is a seasoned executive currently serving as General Manager at Seiko Instruments since July 2017, overseeing the Device Sales & Solutions Center, and previously held multiple General Manager roles within the company's Sales Marketing divisions. In addition to responsibilities at Seiko Instruments, Shawn serves as Chairman of the Primary Battery Division at the Battery Association of Japan and holds board member positions at Seiko Instruments GmbH and Seiko Instruments USA, Inc., along with the role of Managing Director at Seiko Instruments Trading (H.K.) Ltd. Previously, Shawn was Chief Representative at Seiko Instruments from April 2006 to March 2010. Educationally, Shawn Uematsu holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Rikkyo University.
