Takuma Kawauchiya

Takuma Kawauchiya is an experienced professional in the watch industry, currently serving as the Manager of Product Development at SEIKO WATCH CORPORATION since April 2022. Prior to this role, Takuma worked as an R&D Engineer at Seiko Instruments Inc. from March 2010 to March 2022, specializing in the research and development of mechanical watches and holding WOSTEP certification as a watchmaker. Takuma obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology between 1996 and 2000, and pursued further education at the Tokyo Watch Technicum from 2008 to 2010, where Takuma earned a WOSTEP certification in watchmaking.
