Andita Newton has worked in the scientific field since 2005. Andita began their career as a Histocompatability Technologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where they performed histocompatibility testing on potential organ recipients/donors and prepared timely reports for review by transplant personnel. In 2006, they moved to Massachusetts General Hospital as a Research Technologist II, where they profiled host immune responses to chemotherapeutic regimens and investigated communication between primary tumors and remote sites in the host. In 2013, Andita began working at AbbVie Bioresearch Center Inc. as an Associate Scientist II, where they performed in vivo experiments to investigate cell migration and intracellular communication in the context of inflammation. In 2017, they moved to AbbVie as a Scientist I, and in 2022 they began working as a Scientist at Seismic Therapeutic.
Andita Newton completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology at Xavier University of Louisiana between 2000 and 2004. Andita also attended Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, but no other details are provided.
