Kathryn Day

Kathryn Day is an experienced embedded hardware engineer currently working at Seitec since July 2023. Previously, Kathryn held the position of FPGA engineer at Advanced Navigation from November 2022 to June 2023, and served as an electronics engineer at Skykraft from September 2020 to November 2022. Between September 2012 and February 2020, Kathryn worked as a research engineer at the School of Engineering, University of New South Wales, focusing on software defined radio development, underwater communications, and FPGA programming. Kathryn's earlier experience includes roles as an electronics and communications engineer at QinetiQ Australia and design engineer at Compucat Research Pty Ltd, contributing to electronic design and circuit development. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics from the University of Canberra, completed in 1996.
