Ana Ascanio

Ana Ascanio is an experienced Advocacy Organizer at SEIU 775, specializing in planning impactful events and cultivating activist leadership across Washington since February 2022. Previously, Ana served as Team Lead at Blueprint Technologies, overseeing support resources and ensuring adherence to service level agreements, and held the role of Bilingual Consultant, providing business management and IT solutions. As Regional Organizing Director for Lorena González’s mayoral campaign, significant volunteer recruitment and voter engagement were achieved. Early career positions include Guest Services Ambassador at Hotel Hive, Assistant Manager at MetroPCS, and multiple internships that provided valuable experience in public policy and research focused on the Latino community. Ana holds a Master's degree in Political Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs & Political Science from Florida International University.
