Kayla Gibbs

Kayla Gibbs has a diverse work experience history. Kayla started their career as a Stay & Play Attendant at the YMCA of the USA in 2016. Kayla then worked as a Laboratory Assistant at William & Mary in the same year. In 2018, they co-founded and co-facilitated IMRAA: The International Movement for Resilience, Authenticity, & Activism. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Research Assistant and Resident Assistant at William & Mary. In 2020, they briefly worked as a Campaign Canvasser for Vote Blue before joining Regally Refined LLC as an Administrative Assistant. In this role, they streamlined administrative support services and executed digital marketing content strategies. Later in 2020, they joined Calibrate as a Member Experience Associate, where they handled member inquiries, trained team members, and managed laboratory orders and claims. In 2021, they were promoted to Training Coordinator at Calibrate, where they led training initiatives, developed training plans and materials, and collaborated with Instructional Designers. As of 2023, they currently work as an Administrative Project Coordinator at SEIU Education & Support Fund.

Kayla Gibbs completed their Bachelor of Science in Psychology from William & Mary from 2016 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications including "Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Access Essentials" from the University of North Texas in May 2023, "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging" from LinkedIn in September 2022, "HIPAA Certificate" from Accountable HQ in June 2022, and "Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)" from the American Heart Association in November 2019.
