Amy Yount

Amy Yount is an experienced organizer with a strong background in community and political organizing. Currently serving as an Organizer at SEIU Healthcare 1199NW since March 2016, Yount has previously held roles with the Washington State Nurses Association, AFT Washington, One America, and Working Washington, focusing on mobilizing support for economic accountability and workers’ rights. With early experience as a Community Organizer at ACORN and an AmeriCorps Member, Yount has demonstrated a commitment to advocating for low- and moderate-income individuals. Yount holds a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art from the University of Michigan, earned between 1996 and 2003.
