Bruce Hicks has extensive work experience, starting in 1999 as an Operations Manager at West Los Angeles College. In 2016, they became an Adjunct Professor at Los Angeles Community College District. Since 2017, they have served as the Chapter President of SEIU Local 721-Los Angeles Community College District.
Bruce Hicks' education history begins in 2009 when they attended Azusa Pacific University. Bruce obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership, which they completed in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they pursued further education at California State University, Northridge, where they earned a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration. Continuing their academic journey, Hicks attended California State University-Dominguez Hills from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Behavioral Sciences-Conflict Resolution. Currently, starting in 2020 and expected to continue until 2025, they are enrolled in Aspen University pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Psychology.
