Anne Kankaanpää has a diverse work experience in project management and marketing. Anne is currently working as a Project Director at SEK, where they lead various projects for digital and offline platforms. Previously, they worked as a Project Manager at Wunderman Thompson, where they managed digital projects for Finnair in Finnish and Asian markets. Before that, they held the position of Project Manager at Taivas, coordinating campaigns and advertising for DNA shops. Anne also worked as a Project Manager at Tallink Silja Oy, planning and executing marketing campaigns for the Tallink brand. Anne's earlier experience includes working as a Campaign Planner at VR Group, where they planned and executed marketing campaigns, and as a Brand Manager at Restel Oy, overseeing marketing activities for Cumulus hotels.
Anne Kankaanpää has a strong educational background in the field of hospitality management and tourism. Anne obtained a Master's degree in Hospitality Management from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, completing their studies from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, Anne also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the same institution, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. In 2004-2005, Anne attended the Institute of Marketing in Helsinki and received a Professional degree in Marketing with a focus on Marketing Communications.
Furthermore, Anne Kankaanpää has recently obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in May 2022, demonstrating their expertise in Scrum project management methodology.
