Ed Offermanns

Ed Offermanns has over two decades of experience in engineering and development within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as a Development Engineer at Sekisui Alveo since March 2001, Ed is responsible for business contingency projects related to raw materials, developing new products, conducting feasibility studies on alternative raw materials, and creating analysis methods for foam characterization. Prior to this role, Ed was a Quality Control Manager at Plalloy MTD B.V., overseeing a laboratory team and managing quality control for masterbatches. Ed's earlier experience includes the position of Development Scientist at Organon Pharmaceuticals, where new dosage forms for contraceptives were developed, and as an Assistant Researcher at Wageningen University & Research, focusing on bio-plastics. Ed holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Zuyd University of Applied Sciences and is a trained pharmaceutical technician.
