Amber Horton

Amber Horton has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Amber'smost recent role is as a Community Business Manager at the Seldin Company, which they started in March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Property Manager at Orange Property Management (OPM) from August 2021 to March 2022. Before joining OPM, Amber worked at Black River Holdings, LLC as a Community Business Manager from September 2020 to August 2021. In this role, they managed two apartment communities, supervised maintenance staff, tracked financial occupancy goals, and generated various reports.

From May 2020 to December 2020, Amber worked at Commercial Investment Properties (CIP) as a Community Business Manager. Amber previously held the position of Property Manager at CIP from September 2016 to May 2020. During their time at CIP, they managed a 96-unit apartment community, supervised maintenance staff, created property budgets, and generated monthly reports.

Amber also has experience outside of the property management industry. Amber worked at Sage Technical Services as a Driver Instructor from March 2015 to October 2016, where they educated students on commercial motor vehicle operations and tracked their progress. At CR England, they worked as a Driver Manager from July 2015 to October 2015, where they dispatched routes and provided support to drivers. Prior to that, Amber worked at Baker Hughes Process and Pipeline as a Field Operator 3 from April 2012 to December 2014, where they operated various equipment and performed tasks related to pipeline maintenance.

Earlier in their career, Amber was a Supervisor at a Municipal Pool from June 2009 to April 2012.

Throughout their work experience, Amber has developed skills in property management, supervision, budgeting, reporting, and customer service. Amber is also proficient in various software systems such as Yardi CRM, Voyager, Rentcafe, and Breeze.

Amber Horton completed their education at Argosy University from 2016 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. Prior to that, they attended East High School from 2001 to 2004, where they received their high school diploma. In addition to their formal education, Amber obtained the SafeLand certification from DXP Safety Alliance in July 2013.
