Cam® Jessica Opat-Szapacs

Jessica Opat-Szapacs has a diverse work experience in the property management industry. Jessica recently served as a Senior Regional Portfolio Manager at the Seldin Company, where they were responsible for overseeing the portfolio's financial performance and asset protection. Prior to that, they worked as a Managing Director at JAB Asset Management. Jessica's experience also includes roles at Burlington Capital, Properties, where they served as a Regional Manager overseeing a multi-family portfolio. Jessica managed a team and was in charge of financial performance and asset protection. Jessica also gained experience at The Lund Company as a Regional Property Manager and Senior Property Manager, where they managed a luxury multi-family community and supervised a team. Before that, they worked as a Community Manager at Timberland Partners and a Property Manager at Simply Better Homes. Jessica's early career included a position at McCullough Development Inc. as a Property Manager, where they oversaw a multi-family complex and implemented resident retention programs. Throughout their career, Jessica has demonstrated strong leadership, financial acumen, and operational expertise in the property management industry.

Jessica Opat-Szapacs, CAM®, has a diverse education history with a focus on business and real estate law. Jessica began their education at Kansas State University from 2006 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education. Following this, they attended Fort Hays State University from 2010 to 2022, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a field of study in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2022, Jessica furthered their education at Fort Hays State University by obtaining a Certificate in Human Resource Management.

Continuing their pursuit of higher education, Jessica is currently enrolled in Penn State University and is expected to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2026. Their MBA program at Penn State focuses on Real Estate Law and Development, as well as Negotiation and Influence.

Complementing their educational achievements, Jessica has obtained the CAM certification from the National Apartment Association in May 2018.
