Chris DiCicco - PMP®, MBA

Chris DiCicco has extensive work experience in various industries. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at Select Mat, a full-service construction matting company. In this role, they oversee project management, logistics, and the provision of heavy-duty construction mats and crews for clients in the Power Transmission & Distribution, Upstream and Midstream Oil & Gas, Civil, and renewable projects industries.

Prior to their current position, Chris worked as a Principal Consultant at Terra Mater Group, where they provided consulting services. Chris also served as the Regional Director Americas; Oil & Gas at Rotork, where they were responsible for managing operations in the Americas region.

Chris has also held the position of Vice President - Sales & Marketing at Newpark, a provider of drilling solutions and ground protection. In this role, they successfully executed a 5-year growth plan and led a team in expanding the company's global presence.

Earlier in their career, Chris worked as the Sr. Director Oil & Gas at Materia, a company specializing in catalysts and advanced polymer materials. Chris also held various roles at TerraVia Holdings, Inc., including Commercial Operations Director Oil & Gas - Americas & Australasia and Sr. Director Sales - Oil, Gas and Chemicals.

Before joining TerraVia Holdings, Inc., Chris worked at AkzoNobel - Eka Chemicals as an Area Sales Manager, where they achieved turnaround objectives and managed a sales and technical team.

Chris started their career as a District Representative at Nalco, where they led the implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory and successfully defended competitive bids while increasing sales.

Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Sales Representative at Sternson Ltd. (now a division of Kemira), responsible for sales and service in the water treatment segment.

Chris gained early experience as a Summer Intern at Onondaga County Water Authority (OCWA), where they conducted water sample analysis and executed various projects.

Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive growth and deliver results. Their experience spans multiple industries, providing him with a diverse skillset.

Chris DiCicco earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Hampden-Sydney College, graduating in 1996. In 2011, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Global Business and Marketing from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, completing the program in 2017. To further enhance their skillset, Chris completed the Management Essentials Program at AkzoNobel Education University in 2009 and Situational Sales Training at Franklin-Covey in 2010. Chris also obtained the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2011.
