Barbara Steenstrup

Barbara Steenstrup is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and consulting, particularly focused on international development and business advisory services. Since January 2018, Barbara has been self-employed after relocating to Costa Rica and is no longer available for assignments but remains open to networking via LinkedIn. Previously, as Director of Steenstrup Consulting Services Ltd (1994-2016), Barbara specialized in mentoring and connecting local and international consultants, particularly in East and Southern Africa. Additional roles include International Advisor at Grontmij | Carl Bro, Senior Consultant at IBM, and leader of Enterprise Advisory Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Barbara holds a B.A. and M.A. in International Relations and Organizations from the American University School of International Service.
