John Pindred has a wealth of experience in finance and leadership roles. John started their career at Noranda as a Mill Metallurgist in 1990 and then worked at BHP Copper as a Manager of Price Risk from 1991 to 1996. John joined Service Merchandise as AVP of Financial Planning & Analysis in 1996 before moving on to Koch Industries as Director of Commercial Development from 1997 to 1999. Pindred then returned to Service Merchandise as VP of Treasurer, leading financial turnaround and growth initiatives. John later joined Shopko as VP, Treasurer, and Investor Relations, where they turned around earnings and share price, meeting bond maturities with operating cash flow. Pindred joined Family Christian as CFO in 2004 and assumed additional responsibilities as Chief Administrative Officer in 2006, where they directed all finance functions and oversaw various departments. Since 2014, Pindred has been serving as the CFO of Self Esteem Brands, LLC, where they transformed the finance function and established various accounting and analysis functions. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a track record of improving financial performance and executing successful corporate turnarounds.
John Pindred has a strong educational background in the field of finance and engineering. John obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management, where they studied from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, they attended Queen's University's Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science from 1985 to 1989, earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BScEng) with a focus on Mining Engineering.
In addition to their formal education, John Pindred has also obtained a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute in September 1997.
