Ioan-Adrian Dragomir has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ioan-Adrian started their career as a Commercial Manager at the International Trade Center Brasov from August 1998 to December 2000. Ioan-Adrian then joined Selgros Cash&Carry Romania in January 2001 as a Floor Manager, where they led the operational activities of the store, specifically focusing on the food departments. In July 2002, they were promoted to Customer Care Manager, responsible for implementing bonus systems, loyalty programs, and strategies to attract and retain customers.
In September 2014, they advanced to the role of Distribution Director, tasked with establishing a national distribution network, managing logistics and personnel planning, and developing tools for order management and delivery planning. During this period, they also led a team in designing a B2B webshop and a smartphone app dedicated to customer support and order transmission.
From September 2019 to November 2020, Ioan-Adrian held the position of Director Key Accounts, where they managed important national clients, negotiated contracts, and coordinated local activities. Currently, they serve as the Head of Instore Management at Selgros Cash&Carry Romania, a role they started in November 2020. In this position, they coordinate and supports all activities within the stores, including merchandising, sales promotion, and inventory management, among others.
Throughout their career, Ioan-Adrian Dragomir has demonstrated strong leadership skills, and their work experience encompasses various aspects of managing a retail business, from customer care to distribution and store management.
Ioan-Adrian Dragomir has an extensive education history. Ioan-Adrian began their educational journey at the University Transilvania din Brașov, where they earned an Engineer's Degree in Electrotechnics from 1982 to 1988. Following this, they pursued further studies at the University George Barițiu din Brașov and completed a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from 1998 to 2002. In 2004, they enrolled at the Scoala Nationala de Studii Politice si Administrative (SNSPA) and obtained a Master's Degree in Management and Business Communications from 2004 to 2006. Continuing their educational pursuits, Dragomir participated in post-university courses in Human Resources Management at Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov from 2008 to 2009. Lastly, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, completing the program from 2012 to 2017.
