Emrah Cakan

Emrah Cakan is a highly experienced network professional currently serving as Network Devops at Selini Capital and as Director at Magnum Networks London since June 2023, focusing on the optimisation of cloud network infrastructure for low latency exchange connectivity. Previously, Emrah held the position of Senior Network Engineer at LMAX Group from November 2019 to September 2023, where responsibilities included supporting ultra-low-latency network infrastructure and maintaining global data centre connectivity. Earlier roles include Senior Network Engineer at dunnhumby, where Emrah managed significant migration projects, and various positions at Sky, Alcatel-Lucent, and Reuters, accumulating extensive knowledge in network design, development, and support. Emrah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, obtained between 1999 and 2004.
