Steven Ashton

Steven Ashton is an accomplished Principal Engineer at SELLA CONTROLS since October 2014, with prior experience as a Senior Engineer and Safety Engineer at Hima-Sella Limited from November 2005 to October 2014. Steven's expertise encompasses designing system solutions aligned with client specifications while adhering to quality assurance standards and budget constraints. Proficient in PLC software, SCADA HMI integration, and hardwired safety systems, Steven has a strong background in British and European standards, project documentation, and client engagement, particularly in the context of ESD and HIPPS systems for major oil companies. With earlier experience as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician at Ciba Specialty Chemicals, Steven also possesses a solid foundation in preventive maintenance, PLC control systems, and mentoring. Steven holds a BEng(hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The Manchester Metropolitan University, graduating with Upper Second Class honors.
