Lauri Seppäläinen

Lauri Seppäläinen has a diverse work experience in the fields of data science, research, and board memberships. Lauri currently works as a Data Scientist at Sellforte since January 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Master Thesis Project on optical atomic clocks at VTT from May 2020 to December 2020. In 2020, they also served as a Board Member at Tekniikan akateemiset TEK. From May 2019 to May 2020, they worked as a Junior Data Scientist at Sellforte. In 2018, they held a Board Member position at Aalto University Student Union. Lauri'sresearch experience includes being a Research Assistant at Aalto University School of Science and Technology in 2017, focusing on plasmonic lattice nanolasers, and in 2016, where they worked on building an experimental set-up for the study of plasmonic metamaterials in the Optical Physics group.

Lauri Seppäläinen pursued their education at Aalto University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from 2014 to 2020. Following this, they furthered their studies and obtained a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from Aalto University between 2019 and 2021.
