Sarah O'Connor

Sarah O'Connor is an accomplished accountant with extensive experience in financial leadership roles across various organizations. Sarah's current position is as an Accountant at Selwyn District Council since January 2023. Prior to this, Sarah served as CFO at Research First from January 2015 to December 2022, and held accountant roles at Tai Tapu School from May 2014 to May 2017. In earlier career stages, Sarah was Group Commercial Director at WPP / The United Network and Finance Director at WPP / Red Cell Sharpen Troughton Owens Response Ltd. Sarah's expertise also includes serving as Financial Controller Worldwide for WPP from October 2004 to May 2006. Sarah is a qualified Chartered Accountant via Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and holds a BCM degree from Lincoln University in New Zealand.
