Jarod R. has worked in the IT industry since 2002. Theirfirst role was as an Information Technology Manager at Quick Quote from 2002 to 2013. Jarod then moved to Eventus Capital Group as an Information Technology Manager from 2013 to 2016. From 2016 to 2021, Jarod R. held various roles including a Systems Engineer for Engility Corp / TEK Systems / Colorado Dept. of Revenue, Lead Field Technician for Kroger / TEK Systems, and Cloud Engineer for Nextworld. In 2021, they worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at SemanticBits and is currently in the same role at the company. During their time at SemanticBits, they have architected solutions in AWS with Terraform based on the 5 Pillars of a Well Architected Framework, managed Aurora Postgres clusters, Neptune, DynamoDB, and Neo4j databases in Active/Passive configurations, and migrated graph databases from Neo4j to Neptune leveraging OpenSearch replication.
