Jannet Matthew

Jannet Matthew, J.D., has extensive experience in legal and compliance roles, particularly within the cannabis industry. As Director of Legal & Business Affairs at Fyllo from August 2020 to November 2023, Jannet oversaw legal operations, advertising and media compliance, and data privacy, managing various legal projects. Prior to this, Jannet served as Director and Southern Regional Lead, managing a compliance team that focused on business compliance requirements across the southeastern United States. Jannet also held the position of Lead Compliance Analyst at Connected Cannabis Co., where significant improvements in compliance processes and risk management were achieved. Additional experience includes roles as Community Lead and Operations at The Urban Hive, Immigration Law Clerk at Alan Diamante APLC, and participation in an Immigration Clinic at Southwestern Law School, where Jannet earned a Juris Doctor degree.
