Richard Goetz

Richard Goetz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in DevOps engineering and system reliability. Currently serving as the Manager of DevOps Engineering at Afero since May 2024, Richard previously held the position of Senior Manager of DevOps at Semasio, where significant improvements in processes and cost reduction were achieved through the consolidation of tools and systems. Prior roles include Staff Engineer – Tech Lead at MediaMath, where Richard enhanced CI/CD processes and dramatically reduced build times, and Lead DevOps/System Architect at DocuSign, streamlining operations for multiple data centers. Richard's career also includes roles in various companies focused on building deployment systems, site reliability, and network administration, alongside recognition for contributions to security at Facebook. Richard holds a BA in Philosophy of Science from the University of Southern California.
