Chance An

Chance An has a strong background in software engineering and has worked in various positions with well-known companies. Beginning in 2008, they worked as an Assistant Technical Engineer at CargoSmart Limited. In 2010, they served as a Software Engineer at Veer West LLC, where they developed FormAssembly. During the same year, they also worked as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing. In 2013, they joined Google as a Software Engineer before moving on to Microsoft in 2014, where they held the position of Senior Software Engineer until 2020. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Cruise. Chance then transitioned to Kuaikan, where they served as the Head of Engineering from 2021 to 2022. Chance is currently working as a Founding Engineer at Sematic (YC S22). Throughout their career, Chance has showcased their expertise in engineering processes, infrastructure migration, and R&D supervision.

Chance An obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington. The degree was earned between the years 2009 and 2011.
