Marc Simone

Marc Simone has over 29 years of work experience in the energy industry. Marc began their career at DTE Energy in 1991, where they held various roles including Design Engineer, Supervisor of System Planning, and Manager of Belle River Storage Field. In 2007, they joined SEMCO ENERGY as the Manager of Engineering, and later served as the Director of Engineering and Safety, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Operations and Engineering. In their current role, Marc is responsible for overseeing operations, engineering, and EOH&S functions throughout Michigan, as well as contract negotiations and regulatory compliance.

Marc Simone earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, where they studied from 1986 to 1991. Marc later pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in General Administration from Central Michigan University, graduating between 1994 and 1997. Additionally, Marc has a Professional Engineer License from the State of Michigan.
