Head of Product at Swiss E-Mobility Group

Kai Schultz, MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the e-mobility industry. In 2022, they joined SEMG - Swiss E-Mobility Group (Schweiz) AG as the Head of Product. Prior to this, they held the same position at EGO Movement, EBCO electric bikes, and TVS Motor Company, where they also had the additional responsibility of leading product innovation in e-mobility.

Before their work in e-mobility, Kai Schultz worked as a Consultant & Contractor at Consult KFS in 2022. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at PIERER E-Bikes GmbH (Part of Pierer Mobility AG) as the Head of Quality Management & Product Compliance. In this role, they were responsible for defining and developing quality standards, integrating quality management processes, and ensuring product compliance across all bicycle brands within the company.

Prior to that, Kai Schultz served as the Head of Business Development for E-Mobility, Connectivity & OEM Solutions and also as the Head of International Sales at Messingschlager GmbH Co. KG from 2016 to 2018. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Head of Business Development, Head of Sales D/A/CH, and Product Manager at Klever Mobility Europe GmbH, where they played a crucial role in establishing the company as a premium brand for pedelecs and speed-pedelecs in the D/A/CH region.

Before their involvement in the e-mobility industry, Kai Schultz served as a Member of the Board at the HHL Alumni Association from 2013 to 2015. Kai also worked as a Brand Portfolio Manager and Product Manager for Protection at UVEX SPORTS GmbH & Co.KG from 2013 to 2014.

Overall, Kai Schultz brings extensive experience and expertise in product management, quality control, business development, and sales to the e-mobility industry.

Kai Schultz, MBA, pursued their education with a focus on business management and strategic planning. In 2010, they enrolled at the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International and Strategic Management in 2012. Seeking to enhance their expertise further, in 2021, they attended the TUEV SUED Academy to earn a certification as a CE Coordinator Machinery Directive (TUEV), specializing in the field of Machinery Directive CE. Prior to their MBA, Kai embarked on a study journey that included the pursuit of mathematics and sport science. From 2006 to 2007, they studied at the University of Bayreuth, earning a Staatsexamen degree. Before that, from 2001 to 2006, they completed their Staatsexamen degree in Sport Science at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
