Jay Kopelman

Jay Kopelman has a diverse background in leadership and management within the healthcare and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Apprenticeship Programs at Semper Fi & America’s Fund, Jay focuses on supporting wounded service members and their families. Prior experience includes Chief Operating Officer at Welfie, where Jay oversaw a health platform enhancing K-12 school health initiatives, and Health Security and Safety Consultant, providing COVID-related security services. Jay's roles as Vice President at AirStrip Technologies and Senior Global Trial Manager at Janssen Pharmaceuticals demonstrate expertise in healthcare management and business development. An educational background includes a Master of Advanced Studies in Leadership of Healthcare Organizations from UC San Diego, a BA in Communications from the University of Miami, and training as a Naval Aviator. Leadership experience extends to serving as Executive Director at Freedom Is Not Free and a distinguished military career as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps.
