Sean Funk

Sean Funk, CISSP, is an experienced IT professional currently serving as Product Support Technical Lead at Semperis since November 2021, specializing in Active Directory services threat monitoring, detection, response, and disaster recovery. Prior to this role, Sean held various positions at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, including Sr. IT Solutions Architect, where responsibilities included designing security standards and architectures that align with business strategies and compliance requirements, and Senior Infrastructure Engineer III, supporting enterprise Active Directory services. Sean's career began with a role as a Microsoft Certified Trainer at Micro Learning Center, following military service as a Field Radio Operator in the United States Marine Corps. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Network Technology from Capella University and an Associate Degree in Computer Networking from Westwood College of Technology.
