Rui Soares

Rui Soares is an experienced professional in operational excellence and manufacturing processes, currently serving as Global Operational Excellence Manager at SEMPERIT AG since November 2021. Prior to this, Rui held various leadership roles at AVL, including Team Leader for Manufacturing Technology Development and Team Leader for Production Process Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed optimizing manufacturing processes, managing product transitions, and implementing cost-saving measures. Rui's earlier positions included Industrial Engineering Manager at Wittur and several managerial roles in Engineering at the Distribution and Power Transformers Factory. Rui holds a Master's degree in Business Management and multiple post-graduate certificates in lean management, occupational safety, and strategy management, complemented by extensive educational background in electromechanical engineering.
