Richard Barghash

Richard Barghash serves as the Head of Legal at SemperVirens Venture Capital since October 2022, bringing extensive experience from previous roles as a Corporate Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP from June 2019 to October 2022 and at Morrison & Foerster LLP from November 2015 to April 2019. Prior to these positions, Richard worked as a Private Funds Associate at Weil Gotshal and Manges from October 2013 to October 2015, and as a Summer Associate at the same firm in 2012. Richard's early career included internships at KPMG US, Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, Deloitte Tax LLP, and Cargill, with roles ranging from tax intern to fiscal analyst. Richard holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Duke University School of Law (2010-2013) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Quantitative Economics from Tufts University (2006-2010).
