Olya Melnik has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Olya started their career as an Analyst (Internship) at SPb IAC, where they explored the St. Petersburg regional economic system.
Following that, Olya worked at RealWeb Digital Agency, initially as a Programmatic Specialist/Web analyst, where they were responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing campaigns and assessing their effectiveness using Google Analytics and Yandex Metrika. Olya later became the Programmatic Group Head, overseeing the planning and implementation of campaigns. Finally, they served as the Account Group Head, focusing on clients' development.
Olya then joined Selectel as a CRM Marketing Specialist, where they developed and implemented the email marketing strategy.
Currently, Olya is working at SEMrush as a Data Engineer. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Marketing Automation Specialist/Analyst, contributing to the development and implementation of the CRM-marketing strategy as part of SEMrush's overall marketing strategy. Olya also held the role of Marketing Automation Specialist/Analyst during their time at SEMrush.

Olya Melnik completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Saint Petersburg State University, which started in 2007 and ended in 2011. Olya then pursued a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Systems Analysis/Analyst from the same university, graduating between 2011 and 2013. In terms of additional certifications, Olya obtained a Google Analytics Certificate from Google in February 2018. Olya also received certifications in Analyst and Data Scientist from Tableau Software and certifications in Python and SQL from DataCamp, all obtained in 2020.
