Sergio Ramírez Gallardo

Sergio Ramírez Gallardo has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Kompyte CTO at Semrush since March 2022. Sergio co-founded Kompyte in 2014 and held the position of Cofounder & CTO until joining Semrush. Prior to that, they worked as a CTO at Mobeac in 2014, where they developed proximity marketing applications and data mining systems. Before that, they served as an IT Engineer at COCO Barcelona from 2012 to 2014, working on developing new features for an online commerce platform and independent projects for other companies. Sergio gained experience as a Docente en seminario de realidad virtual at CFIS in 2013 and as a Mentor at CFIS from 2012 to 2013. Sergio started their professional career as a Becario at UPC School (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) in 2011 and then co-founded DWL Agency in 2008, where they worked as a Cofounder until 2011.

Sergio Ramírez Gallardo pursued their education at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. During the same period, they also completed another Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering at the same university. In 2013, they briefly attended Esade for an intensive entrepreneurship program, focusing on the field of entrepreneurship. Additionally, in April 2016, Sergio obtained a certification in advanced English fluency from Duolingo.
