Byron Bemiller

Byron BeMiller has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Byron started their career at Nortel Networks, where they served as a Sales Director and played a key role in establishing Nortel's legacy switching and transport products in the CATV voice/data market. Byron then joined Ciena as a Sr. Director of Corporate Development, leading multiple acquisitions and driving revenue diversification. At Cortina Systems, BeMiller worked as a Sales Director. Byron later joined Semtech, where they served in various roles including Director of Eastern US and European Sales, Director of Business Development, Director of Global Marketing, and Director of IoT Business Development. Byron also held the position of Vice President of Global Sales at TrackNet Inc., a company acquired by Semtech. BeMiller has been involved in industry organizations such as the LoRa Alliance and Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA), where they held leadership positions. Currently, they hold the position of Director of IoT Cloud and Connectivity, Americas at Semtech, where they are responsible for the go-to-market plan and ecosystem development for the Smart Building and Smart Home segments.

Byron BeMiller holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Byron also has pursued an MS degree in Management from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business.
