Luis Blanco

Luis Blanco, MBA, has a strong background in quality engineering and technology management. Luis has worked at Semtech since 2012, where they held positions such as Sr. Manager of Quality Engineering and VP of Quality Engineering and Technology. In these roles, they managed multicultural teams across different locations, enabled strategic suppliers to support technology roadmaps, and drove improvement projects for better customer satisfaction and product quality. Prior to Semtech, they worked at Gennum Corporation as a Manager of Reliability and Failure Analysis, where they managed a team to improve customer response time and quality and acted as an interim Quality Manager. In their earlier career at Intel Corporation, they held various roles as a Product Development Reliability Program Manager, Product Quality and Reliability Program Manager, and Product Quality and Reliability Engineer. In these positions, they were responsible for achieving corporate quality and reliability goals, developing validation plans, and driving burn-in module development. Overall, Luis Blanco has extensive experience in quality engineering and has demonstrated success in managing teams and improving processes.

Luis Blanco, MBA, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tecnológico de Costa Rica, completed between 1994 and 1999. Luis also pursued an Omnium Global Executive MBA from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 2017 to 2019.
