Yasmin Nelson

Yasmin Nelson is a seasoned political strategist with over a decade of experience in leading policy campaigns, currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor at Holland & Knight LLP since September 2023. Additionally, Yasmin holds multiple advisory roles, including membership on the Advisory Board of the Black Women’s Congressional Alliance (BWCA) and the Board of Advisors for Pay Our Interns, The Black Policy Institute, and Calvary Women's Services. Other contributions include advisory capacities for the Senate Black Legislative Staff Caucus and Chief, along with a previous role as co-host of the Madam Policy Podcast. Yasmin's background includes partnership roles at Bracewell LLP and Policy Resolution Group. Educational accomplishments include an M.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Loyola University Maryland.
